So...Im just sitting at home, with nothing to do. I extremely bored with nothing to do. My parents are gone at some meeting/dinner thingie! So I am home with my sister!
I took some pictures at band yesterday and I tool some when I was at Panera before hand. I also took 3 videos. The pictures are on facebook and the videos are on youtube.
I still have been looking for a job and have been unsucessful! Marching band has been good. We did our new formation at the game for the first time. But it went well. When we did 'Lion Sleeps tonight' Mr. Aldridge ran around us in a Lion costume. I didn't get a good glance with him in it. I just saw it on the corner of my eye! :( But it was funny! :) School is just....school.
I have been told that someone told her that stage crew has already started. Which sucks since I wanted to do stage crew again this year.
Today, I babysat. And then Akeem was supposed to call me about going to go see a movie, but he never did. But apparently, him mom wouldn't let him or whatever. So I just told him we needed to reschedule so we can see a movie. Amy was supposed to come with us but she canceled so it was just me and Akeem. But he never called. :(
So I am just sitting here, listening to Iron Maiden, bored! :(

Really Cool Article- Girl Dignoses herself with Crohn's Disease!
I found this article on: http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/06/11/teen.self.diagnosis/index.html It's a really cool article and you should read it. Also, please remember, I have a page at wearecrohns.org. My page there is wearecrohns.org/musicislife75 It'll mean a lot to me if you sign up for a page on the site. If you do, just add me as a friend.
So...heres the article....
'For eight years, Jessica Terry suffered from stomach pain so horrible, it brought her to her knees. The pain, along with diarrhea, vomiting and fever, made her so sick, she lost weight and often had to miss school.
During a science class, Jessica Terry, 18, discovered a tell-tale granuloma in her own pathology slide.
Her doctors, no matter how hard they tried, couldn't figure out the cause of Jessica's abdominal distress.
Then one day in January, Terry, 18, figured it out on her own.
In her Advanced Placement high school science class, she was looking under the microscope at slides of her own intestinal tissue -- slides her pathologist had said were completely normal -- and spotted an area of inflamed tissue called a granuloma, a clear indication that she had Crohn's disease.
"It's weird I had to solve my own medical problem," Terry told CNN affiliate KOMO in Seattle, Washington. "There were just no answers anywhere. ... I was always sick."
Terry, who graduated from Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington, this month, is now being treated for Crohn's, says her science teacher, MaryMargaret Welch.
"She was pretty excited about finding the granuloma," Welch said. "She said, 'Ms. Welch! Ms. Welch! Come over here. I think I've got something!' "
Welch, who has taught the Biomedical Problems class at Eastside for 17 years, immediately went on the Internet to see whether Terry had indeed spotted a granuloma.
"I said, 'Jeez, it certainly looks like one to me,' " Welch remembered. "I snapped a picture of it on the microscope and e-mailed it to the pathologist. Within 24 hours, he sent back an e-mail saying yes, this is a granuloma." Watch Terry describe her experience »
Although Terry was relieved to finally get a diagnosis, it was also tough for her to hear that she has such a serious disease.
There are treatments, but there is no cure for Crohn's, a condition in which the digestive tract becomes inflamed. It can lead to ulcers, malnutrition and other health problems.
"As I get older, the disease can get worse," Terry told KOMO.
Crohn's disease is often misdiagnosed or diagnosed very late, says Dr. Corey Siegel, director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
"Granulomas are oftentimes very hard to find and not always even present at all," Siegel said. "I commend Jessica for her meticulous work."
Pathologists also sometimes miss important findings for other diseases, says Dr. Mark Graber, chief of the medical service at the Northport VA Medical Center in New York.
"This story carries a valuable lesson about how errors are found. It's very often by 'fresh eyes,' just like in Jessica's case," he said. "Some specialty centers, recognizing the reality of perceptual error and the power of a second independent reading, are now requiring second reviews on certain types of smears and pathology specimens."
Welch credits Terry's "fresh eyes" but also local pathologists who volunteered to train her and her classmates on how to view specimens under the microscope.
"We've been lucky to have that partnership. It allowed Jessica to think of herself as a scientist," she said. "The class empowered Jessica to think of herself as being a partner in her own health care."
As for Terry's future, she'll start nursing school in the fall. She's written a book for children about Crohn's disease, which she hopes to have published. In the meantime, she's grateful for her science class and for the pathologist for giving her her slides.
"This has been the highlight of my high school career, for sure," Terry told the Sammamish Reporter newspaper. "It's been amazing."'

Another Update
I know...its been a while since I've last updated.
Many things have happened since my last update. I am finally a senior now. Yeah!! :) At last. I'm sad to leave my friends so soon, since I have only been in high school with them for two years, but Im sorta happy to go to college. I applied to Columbus State and got accepted for next fall. I am so excited for going to Columbus State. :)
Band is still really fun. Our first game, against Briggs, got rained out. It started thundering, so we ended early. When we were waiting in the band room, to see if we were going to continue the game, the drum line were doing cadences and a small group of us were dancing in a circle for fun. Me and a couple other people went out in front of the choir room, where Briggs band was chilling out at, temperarily, and started dancing for them and then ran back inside the band room. It was funny.
Later today we are having another Chinese person stay with us for about a week. I sorta excited to meet her. Her english name is Olivia. I am sure she'll be nice. My mom said that she's bringing presants for us since we are letting her stay with us. Awsome, preasants!! :)
Kate's birthday is soon and I cant find anyhting to get her. So, I am screwed.
Not to long ago, I ordered season 3 of Supernatural online and I got it. And I finished watching all of it. Now all I need are seasons 1, 2 and 4. Ok, it sucks, the CW isn't coming in at my house anymore. And Supernatural is on the CW, so I wont be able to see it until after they put it onto their website. Supernatural is like the best show ever and I wont be able to see it until afterwards. :(
I am sitll looking for a job. I have kept applying at Target because Target is awsome. Tia told me that there is a new McDonalds that is opening but my parents probably wont be happy to pick me up and drop me off because they will complain that it's "too far". But it's a job and I need one. I could use the money so I can get stuff for when I move out.
I have been looking for roommates on the internet. I havent been too successful yet, but I still have plenty of time to find one.
I have uploaded alot of videos onto youtube since my last post, like my trip to South Dakota. You can watch them at youtube.com/1316 You can add me as a friend there too if you want to.
On the 'We Are Crohns' website, they added a point system and as of now I have 1522 points which is the 'Bronze Ninja' level. If you guys sign up at the 'We Are Crohns' website, it'll meen alot to me because I have suffered with it for a long time and it'll help me cope with it better because I'll know that my friends realize that it's not a good thing to live with. Just go to wearecrohns.org and sign up. It's completly free. My profile for the site is: wearecrohns.org/musicislife75. So, please if you sign up, add me. The site is not just for people who have Crohns. It's all so for people who know someone with it.

Things that have happened!
I know I avent updated for a while but...Im updating now.
Yesterday my school had the Powder Puff game. For those of you who dont know what that is, it's where the girls played football and the boys were cheerleaders. It was junior girls vs. senior girls. I actually wasnt paying much attention to the game that much. I think the senior girls won but Im not 100% sure. I do have some videos of it and hopefully those will be on youtube soon. And I have couple pictures, so hopefully those will be up sometimes soon. If you guys want to see the videos, my youtube page is www.youtube.com/tech1316 I probably will forget, but I can mention when I have them up.
I made honor roll last qarter. I never made honor roll before in my life. So, I'm really happy about that. For the reward we got ice cream and popcorn. My mom was helping out with passing out stuff. When I went back with Jenna and Meggie, my mom gave me seconds. :)
I dont have much else to mention. I have nothing new.

Scool-related (I guess)
Hey guys!
I had my hear tube removed, finally. Thankfully I was knocked out. When I woke up, I was so out of it. I was happy I was asleep when then did the sergery. The good thing is, I have it remove and I got to skip a day of school.
I went to the art show at school. I just got back from it like 20 minutes ago. If you volunteer, then you get extra credit, if you have my photography teacher as a teacher that is. So I volunteered and my parents came so I got 40 pts. for that. It was 20 points a person you bring and show them around. I had 3 of my art works up. One of them I didn't really like but apprently my teacher though that it was good enough to put in the art show, so I let her. :)

My Day today
Today at school, there was a gun threat. We went to lock down for about an hour and a half. I was at lunch and one person I sometimes sit with at lunch realized that the doors to the cafeteria were closed. The doors are never closed. And the doors stayed closed because of the threat. One of my friends, AJ, said it was a yellow lockdown. He said yellow lockdown is stuff like drugs. But later we found out about the gun. Another friend of mine, Meggie, her mom works at our school and she was texzting her, telling her what was going on. There were many police cars there and a couple motorcycles. Aparently it was a level red lockdown. They wouldn't let anyone go into the halls. After being in the cafeteria for a while it started to get really hot and started to smell. After school when Mary, Nikki, Damian and I were talking up to the bus stop to go to Chipotle, we saw vans for NBC4 and 10TV there with cameras. Also, after school, when we got let out, there were still bunch of police cars there. I really don't know the entire story of why we had a lockdown but it had to do with a gun. Two people from school were taken. I think they got arrested.
After being in the cafeteria for a while I started to get really thirsty. After a while of being thirsty, they finally let us get something to drink from where you get the food. Before I went up there, I took some water from Neil and the rest of a juce thing from someone I eat lunch with sometimes because I was so thirsty. Also, after being in lockdown for a while, I started to get moody. started cussing. I mean, I do cuss, but in something like that and cussing, it means Im getting moody.
Today,my photography class got pizza because we has perfect addendance several times and got pizza as a reward. All day I have been really hungry because of cramps. When I at the pizza, I was still really hungry. The cramps finally started to go away when the lockdown happened. Cramps are horrible. :(
As usual, today, I went to Chipotle and I saw Tyler and Andy there with Adam. I was actually sorta happy to see them. :)
After Chipotle, I went to Petsmart and got some treats and a toy for my doggie. And after that I took the bus down to the library and got my CDs and donated some blood. :)

Donating Blood
I just got home couple minutes ago from the library. I originally went there to pick up some CDs I had in and they had a sign up for donating blood. So, when I picked up my stuff, I went to the room where they were donating blood and I asked them how old you have to be and if I need a parents concent. You needed to be 17 and don't need a parents concent. Since mom and dad are gone this weekend and had already left by then, then I would be screwed on donating today if I needed parents permission. So I donted blood for the first time todoay. :)
