Donating Blood

I just got home couple minutes ago from the library. I originally went there to pick up some CDs I had in and they had a sign up for donating blood. So, when I picked up my stuff, I went to the room where they were donating blood and I asked them how old you have to be and if I need a parents concent. You needed to be 17 and don't need a parents concent. Since mom and dad are gone this weekend and had already left by then, then I would be screwed on donating today if I needed parents permission. So I donted blood for the first time todoay. :)
